In order to install a high-quality outdoor terrace made of WPC plastic-composite, you will need screw foundations, structural wood, WPC boards, fasteners and accessories, and care products.

Shipping and returns

Individually completed WPC terrace kit is delivered to the door or prepared for collection at our branches. If necessary, we will advise on the installation of the terrace or offer the help of professional craftsmen. WPC terrace kit. Components:

Screw foundations – designed for creating solid terrace foundations without using concrete or pre-drilling. They can be installed year-round. This is an extremely fast and convenient way to create a stable and reliable base for your terrace. Choose a U-type foundation if you’ll be attaching the frame to the foundation “ear” or M-type if you’ll be mounting the frame with a long screw. If the foundation is raised above ground, choose a longer model. Example: for a 12 m² terrace (3×4 m), you’ll need 12 posts.

Lags

Bottom joists – for longevity, we recommend choosing 40×60 galvanized joists or 35×50 aluminum joists. Typically, the bottom frame is laid to match the terrace square meters, but you can also calculate based on the maximum distance between posts (1.20 m). Example: for a 12 m² terrace (3×4 m), with a distance of 0.9 m between posts, 5 bottom beams (45×95 mm) will be sufficient.
Top joists – most commonly, 40×40 mm galvanized metal or 35×50 mm aluminum profiles, or beams of similar dimensions, are used for the terrace top frame. Typically, the top frame square meters are calculated by multiplying the terrace square meters x3. The resulting meters are divided by the length of the chosen joist. This will tell you how many joist units you need. Example: for a 12 m² terrace (3×4 m), 9 top joists 35x50x4000 mm would be sufficient (12 m² x 3 / 4 m = ± 9 beams).

Boards

WPC boards are resistant to corrosion, UV rays, sunlight, moisture, salty and chlorinated water, cold, temperature fluctuations, rot and fungus. Choose the length of the board taking into account the desired length of the terrace and the direction of the boards on the terrace, and calculate the required quantity as follows: divide the area of ​​the terrace by the width of the board and you will get the quantity in units. For example For a 12 m2 terrace (3x4m), 24 units would be enough. terrace boards 26x120x4000m (4m/0.12m = ± 25 boards).

We also recommend consulting with specialists about the exact number of boards, as the number may vary due to the direction, steps and finishes. For finishing, we recommend using Newwood WPC solid boards.

WPC terrace kit. Additional materials

Geotextile – designed to stabilize, separate and filter soil. The geotextile is laid under the terrace frame and pressed with earth, crushed stone or sand to prevent the growth of unwanted grass.
Studs for geotextile – a stud with a metal nail is used to press the geotextile.
Framing Fasteners to Screw Foundations – These fasteners are used to install the frame on screw foundations. Special coating for outdoor work.
G-tape is a high-quality adhesive tape made in Japan. Protects wood from moisture and rot, resistant to external factors. Can be re-glued several times. Designed for outdoor use.

Frame screws – used for frame installation.
Fastfixer screws for boards – using these creates a beautiful, smooth terrace surface without visible screws, providing an aesthetic sense of cleanliness, modernity, and safety for walking barefoot (possible changes depending on selected frame elements).
Screws for the sides of the terrace – used for side fixing of the terrace.

Oil

Woca oil for the terrace is a product that helps to finish the installation of the terrace in a high-quality manner, and provides a final aesthetic image. Woca oil serves as a terrace care product, protects against external factors and ensures a longer service life of larch wood.
