Thermo-wood terrace lag made of pine is wood treated with steam and heat at a temperature of 180-215°C. Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, increasing the resistance of the terrace lags to external factors. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment is reduced, regardless of changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermo-pine terrace lag remains stable.
The most significant effects of heat treatment on pine wood are: dimensional stability, color darkness, and durability.

Thermo wood veneer is stable: it does not split, warp, warp, or “walk” like other types of wood, such as hardwoods. It retains its shape and color perfectly.
Longevity
