Due to its extremely high durability properties, Thermo Ash wood also has its own colour, which is very similar to the colours of “Exotic Wood”. They are also branchless and have a deep, rich shade.

The Terrace Thermal Board is stable, sustainable and long-lasting, immune to environmental factors, and can withstand large changes in humidity and temperature. Thermal Modification Technology

During heat treatment, the wood temperature is first raised above 215 °C and then returned to normal temperature. The treatment takes between 1.5 and 3 days and is regulated using hot air and steam. The wood structure changes, removingwater and extracts such as resin (terpenes). Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, and the resistance of terrace boards to external factors increases. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment is reduced, regardless of the changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermal ash terrace board Class B remains stable.

Processing class

TermoD wood treatment class means that ash wood is heated to 212°C and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Mounting

MDS terrace expert team recommends installing ash decking boards using screw piles, CAMO hidden fastening system and A2 and A4 wood screws.

Supervision

For aesthetic reasons and to maintain the colour of the thermo-ash terracotta planks, we recommend coating the surface with WOCA EXRERIOR OIL oil with pigment (13 colours in the colour range, one of them natural). MDS terraces recommends renewing the terrace boards every year (depending on the operating conditions and the direction of the terrace installation).
