Thermal wood for the facade from professional hands. Thermal pine paneling 19x117x4500 UTS is not only ecological, but also resistant to woodbores and rot. It is characterized by stability, sustainability and durability, immunity to environmental factors, withstands large changes in humidity and temperature. Due to the authentic processing technology used, thermal pine boards gain an aesthetic advantage. Thermally treated panels are the least prone to cracking and chipping than other, most popular types of boards in our country.
Thermal wood for the facade
Thermal wood is wood treated with steam and heat at a temperature of 180-215ยฐC. Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, the resistance of the paneling to external factors increases. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment is reduced, regardless of changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermal pine facade board remains stable. The effects of heat treatment on pine wood are most evident: dimensional stability, color darkness, and durability.
Dimensional stability
Thermal wood for the facade is stable: it does not crack, it does not warp, it does not curl, it does not “walk” like other types of wood, for example hardwood types, it perfectly retains its shape and color.
Color darkness
Thermo pine terrace boards have a rich brown colour, which depends on the temperature during the treatment process – the higher the temperature, the darker the colour.
Longevity
The properties of thermally treated wood are improved during the treatment process after the cellulose – protein is burnt, so thermal wood for the facade does not rot and becomes more durable. This is relevant in the unstable and rather harsh climate of Lithuania.
Quality class
The facade board of this thermal pine belongs to the AB quality class. It is a type of wood that meets high quality standards. Read more in the “Quality description” section. AB-type siding is a mixture of A and B-type boards (ratio A – 70%, B – 30%). If you are looking for stable, high-quality wood for your terrace, choose thermal panels of northern pine.
Processing class
The TermoD wood treatment class means that Nordic pine wood is heated up to 212ยฐC and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Supervision
Due to aesthetic image and in order to maintain the color of thermal pine panelling, we recommend covering the surface WOCA EXTERIOR OIL oil with pigment (there are 13 colors in the color range, one of them natural). MDS terraces recommends renewing the terrace boards every year (depending on the operating conditions and the direction of the terrace installation).
