Thermal wood is wood treated with steam and heat at a temperature of 180-215ยฐC. Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, the resistance of the paneling to external factors increases. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment is reduced, regardless of changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermal pine facade board remains stable. The effects of heat treatment on pine wood are most evident: dimensional stability, color darkness, and durability.
Dimensional stability
The thermal pine of the facade paneling is stable: it does not split, it does not warp, it does not “walk” like other types of wood, such as hardwoods. Keeps its shape and color perfectly.
Color darkness
