Sustainability

Scandic WPC SOLID corrugated board is made using solar energy. Only recycled plastic (HDPE) is used in the production of boards. Composition of Scandic WPC plastic-composite boards: 60 percent bamboo wood flour 30% recycled plastic (HDPE) 10% additives, stabilisers

Technical guidance:

• The boards must not be laid directly on the ground, but must be secured to beams of a suitable support structure.
• We recommend using aluminium or galvanised metal profiles and wooden beams for the support structure. The structure shall be designed to form parallel, evenly spaced rows with a slope for drainage.
• The slope from the side of the building should be 5-10mm per 1m. The recommended distance between lagging should not exceed 40 cm. To prevent the boards from bunching up, we recommend reducing the spacing between the first and second side lags to 20 cm.
• When joining the boards, an expansion gap of 6 mm is required.
