These boards have another advantage – quick and easy installation. It is recommended to use an invisible fastening system, for the installation of which ordinary tools are sufficient. Mold and rot resistance

Sustainability

Scandic WPC corrugated wood imitation terrace boards are made using solar energy. Only recycled plastic (HDPE) is used in the production of the tapes.

Composition of Scandic WPC Solid plastic-composite boards:

60 percent bamboo wood flour
30% recycled plastic (HDPE)
10 percent additives, stabilizers

Technical recommendations:

• The installation direction of Scandic WPC boards can be distinguished by the wood pattern and the strip running along the board’s groove. All boards must be installed in the same direction to ensure a uniform and aesthetic surface.
• Boards should not be laid directly on the ground; they must be attached to a proper support structure of joists.
• We recommend using aluminium or galvanised metal profiles and wooden beams for the support structure. The structure shall be designed to form parallel, evenly spaced rows with a slope for drainage.
• The slope from the side of the building should be 5-10mm per 1m. The recommended distance between lagging should not exceed 40 cm. In order to prevent the boards from bunching up, we recommend reducing the gaps between the first and second edge joists to 20 cm.
• When joining boards, leave a 6mm expansion gap.
