Padouk hardwood decking board is the most vibrant choice among all exotic wood species. Freshly cut, Padouk boasts a bright red-coral color, which then quickly and evenly patinates to a silver-grey from UV exposure within 2–4 weeks. This unique combination of vivid initial color and rapid, uniform graying makes Padouk particularly popular with architects. It features minimal shrinkage and excellent stability.

We recommend applying WOCA natural colorless oil once a year (the board will naturally and evenly gray) or WOCA oil with pigment if you wish to slow down the graying process. Padouk absorbs oil very easily and evenly.
We recommend doubling the joists at the front and back of the structure, with subsequent joists spaced 35–40 cm apart. Due to moderate board movement, proper acclimatization before installation is recommended. We suggest fastening with hidden fasteners from below, Fastshifter wood/alu through the side into an aluminum joist, CAMO A4 into a wooden joist, or with clips by making grooves (Deckwise, CAMO Clip, or HC Clip).
