Corrugated thermo board for terraces
Made from Scandinavian pine wood, it is not only ecological, but also resistant to woodbores and rot. They are characterized by stability, sustainability and durability, immunity to environmental factors, withstand large changes in humidity and temperature. Due to the authentic processing technology used, thermal pine boards gain an aesthetic advantage. Thermally treated boards are less prone to cracking and chipping than other types of boards that are popular in our country.
Thermal wood
Thermal wood is wood treated with steam and heat at a temperature of 180-215°C. Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, and the resistance of terrace boards to external factors increases. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment is reduced, regardless of changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermal pine terrace board remains stable. The effects of heat treatment on pine wood are most evident: dimensional stability, color darkness, and durability.
Dimensional stability
The corrugated thermal board is stable: it does not crack, it does not warp, it does not “walk” like other types of wood, such as hardwoods. It perfectly retains its shape and color.
Color darkness
Pine corrugated thermal board has a rich brown color, which depends on the temperature during the treatment process – the higher it is, the darker the color.
Longevity
The properties of thermally treated wood are improved by burning the cellulose – protein during the treatment process, so thermal pine boards do not rot and the terrace becomes more durable. This is relevant in the unstable and rather harsh climate of Lithuania.
Quality class
This pine ribbed thermal board belongs to the AB quality class. It is a type of wood that meets high quality standards. Read more in the “Quality description” section. Type AB decking boards are a mixture of type A and type B boards (ratio A – 70%, B – 30%). If you are looking for stable, high-quality wood for your terrace, choose thermal terrace boards of northern pine.
Processing class
The TermoD wood treatment class means that Nordic pine wood is heated up to 212°C and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Supervision
For the aesthetic appearance and to maintain the color of the thermal pine terrace boards, we recommend covering the surface with WOCA EXRERIOR OIL with pigment (the color range includes 13 colors, one of which is natural).
