Frame for the terrace from Termo pine. Lages are intended for the construction of terraces, sheds and other light buildings. Construction wood Scandinavian pine 42x92x3300 for the terrace frame . This structural timber beam is resistant to load and environmental factors.
The frame for the terrace is made of thermal pine. Lags and their origin
MDS Terraces offers certified Scandinavian thermal wood. We are the representatives of the Finnish company HJT in Lithuania. Manufacturer origin: Finland (certified Finotrol-PEFC-COC-1505) Certified wood: PEFC ST 2002:2013 HJT specializes in the production and further processing of thermally treated wood in order to meet the needs of consumers and adhere to the principles of financially, ecologically and socially sustainable forestry. Reliable quality Finnish production and excellent knowledge of the raw material are the main quality guarantors in the heat treatment of products. HJT is one of the oldest and most experienced manufacturers of thermal media in Europe. It’s a family business passed down from generation to generation. Years of experience, patented production technology and the best raw materials from trusted partners ensure the quality of HJT products.
Structural timber
Thermal lags for terraces made of pine are structural wood treated with steam and heat at a temperature of 180-215°C. Under the influence of the heat treatment process, the structure of the wood changes, and the resistance of terrace roofs to external factors increases. The reaction to changes in humidity in the environment decreases, regardless of changing weather conditions, the shape of the thermal pine terrace lag remains stable. The effects of heat treatment on pine wood are most evident: dimensional stability, color darkness, and durability.
Dimensional stability
Thermo structural wood is stable: it does not split, warp, curl or “walk” like other types of wood, such as hardwoods. They keep their shape and color perfectly.
Sustainability
Finnish thermo-wood products have been awarded the highest quality PEFC certification Sustainability is paramount – from the sourcing of the wood, to responsible production (no chemicals are used), to a final product with a long life cycle.
Longevity
The properties of thermally treated wood are improved by burning the cellulose – protein during the treatment process, so thermal pine logs do not rot. The frame for the terrace and the terrace become more durable. This is relevant in the unstable and rather harsh climate of Lithuania.
Mounting
The team of MDS terrace experts recommends the use of thermal pine logs for the installation of light building structures.
