Instructions for oiling the terrace with WOCA oil Oiling a terrace or other object with professional, ecological, high-quality WOCA oil is simple and easy. Follow the steps listed below consistently and enjoy the great result!
- Before oiling, clean new and old wood surfaces using WOCA exterior cleaner for wooden terraces.
- Allow the wood to dry for at least 24 hours. A wood moisture content of no more than 17% is recommended.
- Sand the roughness of the wood grain as needed using 120-grit sandpaper.
- Cover the surface with oil only in dry weather conditions, at a temperature not lower than +13 °C.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures.
- Mix the WOCA oil well before use and repeat the procedure during work so that the pigment does not settle.
- Using a brush, sponge or applicator, apply the oil in an even, thick layer.
- After no more than 5 minutes, wipe off the excess oil using a cotton cloth. Be especially careful to remove excess oil from joints and grooves.
- If the surface appears not saturated with oil, repeat the steps.
