How to use ferrous sulfate
Mix iron sulfate powder with warm water in the ratio: 1 kg – 4 l of water. Stir thoroughly until the iron particles are completely dissolved in the water. If the particles no longer dissolve, the water is saturated with iron sulfate. Apply the prepared solution evenly to the moistened wood surface. Avoid spilling onto concrete, stone or paving, as rust marks may remain. Leave the treated surface to dry for several hours until the result begins to appear. Be sure to rinse the wood with plenty of water two or three times to remove any residue. If you don’t wash it off, rain can cause leaks.
