High-quality, vacuum-impregnated pine decking, brown in color. Deep impregnation protects decking wood from rotting and pests for 7-10 years. Impregnated pine decking, due to its relatively low price, is one of the best economical options for installing decking. Pine wood absorbs impregnation material perfectly, making the decking strong and durable.
Impregnated terrace boards
The pine terrace boards we sell are impregnated according to the NTR certificate. Terrace boards exposed to atmospheric phenomena may start to mold or rot, lose color. Professional deep impregnation provides additional protection to pine boards, which guarantees resistance to moisture and changing weather conditions. Under vacuum pressure, protective chemicals penetrate deep into the wood structure, extending the service life of the wood. Wood processed using vacuum impregnation technology is stronger than wood processed by heat, therefore it is more suitable for structures requiring mechanical resistance.
Quality class
This impregnated pine board belongs to the AB quality class. AB type terrace boards are a mixture of A and B type boards (ratio A – 70%, B – 30%). Read more in the “Quality description” section.
Installation
The MDS terrace expert team recommends installing pine terrace boards using screw foundations, CAMO invisible fastening system Protech wood screws , which are particularly suitable for impregnated wood and do not undergo corrosion.
Maintenance
The special impregnant for these boards is exposed to weather conditions (rain constantly washes away and dilutes the impregnant), so the brown color will disappear from the surface within 3-12 months. To maintain the color of the boards and protect them from environmental factors, it is recommended to cover the surface with tinted oil.
