Pine decking boards are a very popular choice for terrace owners. Due to their relatively low price, these boards are one of the best options for economical projects. Pine wood perfectly absorbs impregnation materials, making the boards strong and durable.
Impregnated terrace boards
MDS Terraces sells pine terrace boards impregnated according to the NTR certificate. Terrace boards exposed to atmospheric phenomena may begin to mold or rot, lose color. Professional deep impregnation provides additional protection to pine boards, which guarantees resistance to moisture and changing weather conditions. Under vacuum pressure, protective chemicals penetrate deep into the wood structure, extending the service life of the wood. Wood processed using vacuum impregnation technology is stronger than wood treated thermally, therefore it is more suitable for structures requiring mechanical resistance.
Quality class
This impregnated pine decking board belongs to the AB quality class. AB type decking boards are a mixture of A and B type boards (ratio A – 70%, B – 30%). Read more in the “Quality description” section.

Pine decking boards: maintenance
The special impregnant for these boards is exposed to weather conditions (rain keeps washing it away, diluting the impregnant), so the brown color will disappear from the surface within 3-12 months. To maintain the color of the boards and protect them from environmental factors, it is recommended to cover the surface with tinted oil .
