Hardwood decking board Fava Amargosa is characterized by stiffness, strength, impact resistance, medium shrinkage and good stability. Stable, tested MDS pro board. As an exotic species, it moves little, beautiful color. Fastened with A4 Camo invisible screws or special invisible fixing from below. At the front and back of the structure, it is recommended to double the lags, and the subsequent gaps between the lags are 35 – 40 cm to control the curling. Doubling lages is also mandatory in the joining lines of boards. Of course, you can always use A4 direct terrace mounts through the top of the board. The recommended space between the boards is 7 mm ( a spacer is used). It is recommended to drill through hardwood before screwing. If the boards are joined at the ends along the length, it is necessary to leave gaps of 3-4 mm. The recommended framework for construction is larch or other hardwood. Hardwood decking board: maintenance
It is recommended to apply WOCA natural colorless oil once a year (in this case the board will turn a little gray from UV) or WOCA oil with pigment to preserve and emphasize the natural color of the wood.
Mounting
It is recommended to pre-drill the screw holes to prevent splitting and cracking. Use only stainless steel screws or fasteners . Avoid contact with corrosive metal objects, which can cause hard-to-remove blue-black stains on the wood.
