Oiling ProDeck WPC decking boards is an often overlooked phenomenon, as wood-plastic composite decking boards are thought to be completely maintenance-free. We are of the opinion that maintenance of WPC boards is necessary and maintenance compared to wood decking is minimal.

Why oil WPC decking boards?
Colorless oil on WPC boards reduces the absorption of moisture, increases the stability of the boards, decreases the change in dimensions – in short, the overall durability of the product increases. Maintenance of the boards becomes much easier, absorption of food and other stains decreases, easier cleaning.
How to oil ProDeck decking boards?
To ensure quality oiling of WPC decking boards, first remove stains and scratches with sandpaper.
Apply colorless oil evenly to the boards. If you use WOCA oil and it is a bit too thick, add up to 10%. water and oil will become more compliant.
Rub the oil in well and wipe off the excess with a cloth.
Impregnation of WPC boards
There are several subtleties when using WPC wood composite boards. Once the grease gets on the boards, it is often difficult to wash it off, it also depends on the type of boards. Some WPC boards change dimensions quite strongly from moisture and cold.
